Our Solutions

Bioquell have a range of hydrogen peroxide vapour (HPV) enabled material transfer systems which reduce the risk of this critical process.

Traditionally manual cleaning or formaldehyde are used to bio-decontaminate during the transfer of materials. Both have inherent risks;

  • Manual cleaning is a variable process, its efficacy being determined by the skills of the operator performing the clean. This is not a robust and validatable process and hence significant risk remains when using this technique.
  • Formaldehyde, although being recognised as effective, leaves residues of paraformaldeyhe on materials treated and, being a recognised carcinogen, has significant health risks if operators are exposed to formaldehyde or its residues during the process.

Hydrogen peroxide vapour offers robust efficacy, validatable process and is fully removed following the bio-decontamination cycle leaving no residues. Bioquell are able to provide a range of systems designed to provide different load sizes and decontamination cycle times to meet the variety of process applications.
