Material compatibility
BIOQUELL's rapid, residue-free HPV technology utilizes the microbiocidal power of free radicals released by hydrogen peroxide vapor to bio-decontaminate rooms.
HPV is first distributed throughout the area ensuring all surfaces are bio-decontaminated, before converting the gas to oxygen and water vapor. The invisible micro-condensation exists for a short time and evaporates during the aeration phase of the decontamination cycle, leaving no residue. This short contact time is the reason HPV decontamination shows excellent material compatibility.
The data outlined in the material compatibility document is derived from a series of tests to ascertain the effect of hydrogen peroxide vapor on various commonly encountered materials which maybe exposed to both dry and saturated HPV during a gassing cycle. The list of materials is not comprehensive, therefore if it is known that other materials not listed maybe exposed to HPV, please contact BIOQUELL directly.
